I updated to the newest version of Maverick, and nor my MacBook Pro (late 2009) does not follow the energy saving instructions in Systemsettings.They have worked perfectly up until then, and I have made no other changes than updating the OS.
What to do?
Hope somebody can help me out here 🙂

I am not quite sure why you are posting this in an iMac forum. However try resetting Disk Permissions using Disk Utility. If that fails do a Safe Boot and also reset the PRAM and SMC. If these fail then please repost in the MacBook Pro forum OR the Mavericks forum.
