can't run itunes on sony laptop with windows 8

when i install i get "itunes not installed correctly error7(windows error 126").when i try to start itunes i get " itunes.exe-system error (program can't start because dgghelp.dll is missing from your computer. What do i do? tried reinstalling run as administrator(no help)
