i having a tough time using home sharing on my New Apple TV and my windows computer iTunes i have the latest update of iTunes. And it is on both my computer and Apple tv
home sharing needs to be turned on in iTunes on the computer
home sharing needs to be made sure is not blocked by the computers software firewall
home sharing and the ports it rely on needs to be made sure is not blocked by your router
Home Sharing is turned on on the computer and is not blocked by the firewall and im pretty sure its not blocked by the routers

Perhaps you would share what you did so others with same issue may get help from this thread...
I just made sure my iTunes was up to date by checking for new updates
I am having trouble using Home sharing on my NEW Apple TV from my windows itunes
