Jul 14, 2014 1:56 PM in response to JimR123by Alley_Cat,Unfortunately Apple have change iTunes Extras.
Old movie purchases with downloadable Extras that played on Mac and could be played on AppleTV 1 (720p versions) are not supported.
So if you have downloaded extras in the past AppleTV cannot play them via Home Sharing.
I suspect however you are trying to play Extras via Purchased from teh Movies icon not Computers.
Some titles that had old Extras have equivalent Extras in the cloud (they cannot be downloaded to iTunes, only played from the cloud on computer or AppleTV). Some titles that used to have Extras no longer have them, presumably as they have not yet migrated them to the new format.
Do check in Settings>General>About that your software update worked ok and you have current version (sounds as though it did or you wouldn;t get the message).

Keep in mind that you access them on Apple TV via the Movies tile not the Computer tile in the menu.

Jul 17, 2014 11:30 PM in response to JimR123by Plasmakris,If you do a search of the internet, then people have put a list of films on there which will come with itunes extras ! I was using avengers assemble as an example and yes I meant the film in HD and not the tv series !
All my movies was purchased in HD and I can view itunes extras on my MacBook Air but the new update to the Apple TV 3 does not allow you to watch the extras as the update says it should.I think there maybe a bug in the system !
Can anyone confirm if they can watch itunes extras via there Apple TV 3 ?
Thanks.

Note that Extras are viewed on the AppleTV under Movies > Purchased, not Computer > Movies.
