Q: What gives with the long delivery of my ibook!

I ordered 4 copies of my book over a week ago and got a notice 3 days later that it was being shipped. Why does it take over a week for FedEx to deliver my order? I had the same problem with the last book ordered. I received it almost 2 weeks after being notified that it was being delivered! I thought FedEx was the fastest way but it seems US Priority Mail is. Also, when I made this last order I clicked on an earlier delivery rather than standard and when I finally processed my order it defaulted to standard shipping. This also happened previously and I'm getting frustrated over this and will think twice before ordering another ibook.

I have had the same problem with the delivery of two ibooks that I made using iPhoto. Again Apple demonstrate complete disengagement from the rest of the world - there seems to be no way other than these discussion forums for registering a complaint let alone seeking compensation. Utterly non service minded. Before Apple have always managed to have my iBooks delivered promptly using the postal service (I live in Sweden). They have now chosen to use UPS. As anyone who lives in Europe would tell you, UPS are hopeless. We have just called them to find out what has happened to our delivery. We got a completely disinterested moron who was totally unapologetic just kept saying the driver couldn't find the address. Well what's new? That is UPS all over in Europe. We have regular deliveries from DHL, Schenker, Bring and the postal service with no problems and a smiling helpful delivery person. They always call before delivery. UPS never calls and the moron we spoke didn't want our phone number and didn't want a description we offered of how to get to the address.

Have always been a fan of Apple but the more they get there heads up into those clouds of theirs the more they lose my interest and custom. Come down to ground Apple.
