how can we zoom while recording screen in quick time player in OS X Mavericks?

Dear friend,I own a 13.4 inch macbook pro whose specifications include :OS X 10.9.3,i5 processor(2.5 GHz speed),500 GB hard disk,4 GB RAM.I have inbuilt quicktime player of version 10.3.I got OS X Mavericks 10.9.3.

I would love to upload videos in youtube.I learnt that we can record the screen, audio using QT player.I have recorded my screen using QT player and converted in to mp4(H.264) format using YTD(youtube downloader),version 1.3. and modified the resolution to 1280x720 using imovie, version 10.0.3.I read in a apple discussion, that it is possible to zoom in a QT player of OS X mavericks.

so,I want to know about the procedure of zooming a particular spot or area in QT player while recording the screen.

Thats very nice of you if you help me...

Thank you

What happens if you go to System Preferences---> Accessibility---> Zoom and tick "Use scroll gesture with modifier key to zoom:" By default control is the modifier key.

To zoom in/out. Press and hold the control key while you use your mouse/trackpad to zoom in/out.

I don't know how this would look for your objective though. I just know that you have to turn that feature on by ticking that box. Other wise it won't work.
