Fill down formula in Numbers 3.2

This seems like rather a simple task in Excel ... write a formula, mark the cell and double click on the cross to apply it to the whole column.

How is this done in Numbers 3.2? I know there is a handle in the middle once you mark a cell, but you have to manually pull it down ... I found some old forum posts which mentioned to use Insert > Fill > Fill down (or similar) but this function does not seem to exist in Numbers 3.2. Can someone please explain how this is done in an easy fashion in Numbers 3.2?

Thanks,

Diddy

Hi Diddy,

In Numbers 3.2, the Fill command is under Menu > Table > Autofill Cell > Autofill Right (or Left, Down Up).

To select all Body Cells in a column (but not select Headers and Footers), double click on the column label (A, B, C etc.). Then Fill.

Another way is to copy the cell that you want to fill down, select the body cells and paste.

Regards,

Ian.
