New to Apple So far I hate it
Well, that last remark will really make the volunteers here want to jump in an help you.
What do you mean exactly by your question? How does a car stereo have any connection to an Apple Device and burning CDs? You need to be a little more specific about what it is you are trying to do....

What age stereo? What does the owner's manual say about supported formats? What format do you want to use? How old is the player? Not all can play burned CDs or can only do so with very carefully produced ones.
So you hate Apple. Okay, that helps in answering your question. In directing the conversation to that you omit to mention if you have a CD burner, what version of iTunes and operating system you are using, and if you have already tried burning a CD and this question is really about extended problems or if you have no idea how to burn a CD on your new computer.
Are we being "catty"? 😝 I LOVE your kitty in the sink!!!

First of all I have not gotten personal on this, I just asked an operating question. The Apple computer I have is 2 months old. It has a cd/dvd burner. I have burned 2 cds using 2 different methods and neither will not work in any cd player other than an Apple computer. The idea of burning a music disc is to be able to play it on a home stere system or in a car stereo that has a cd player. Other wise what would be the point of burning a disc. My old computer had a disc burner and every disc that was created worked no matter what it was plugged into.
I have a cd/dvd burner. The computer is 2 months old. The stereo/cd player is only 3 months old in my car. My house stereo plays all the previous cds generated from old computer. I have burned 2 cds using 2 different methods. All I want to do is burn one music cd that will play on a modern player.
Try different media, particularly if you are using cheap ones.
Try a slower burn speed.
If you are burning an audio CD there is nothing Apple or anybody can do to make it only work on a particular platform. The standard for Audio CDs dates from the early 1980s. However, some players can be very finicky about playing burned media, and burned media can be produced in varying qualities.
Some car players dont like rewritable discs too.
All ypou need to do is from your playlist right click and select burn to CD or fdrom the menu bar. I have never had trouble with any disc burned from iTunes in the 10 years I have used it.
