Accidentally deleted my dvd player off my mac
I accidentally deleted my dvd player off my macbook and no matter what i download nothing will bring it back? What do i do ? Does anyone know an alternative app that plays dvds?
What version of OS are you running on your macbook? I presume you were referring to inbuilt DVD Player. This app comes with OS X. You may have already tried these but wanted to double confirm:
1. Check trash to see if it is still available - If yes, you can recover
2. Search Spotlight if it moved to a different location?
3. Lastly try reinstalling OS X or downloading/installing again from App Store? Recommend to take backup using time machine or otherwise.
