The screen is not cracked, the phone still works, but the colors are a strange hue. It is darker overall and some of the colors are strangely tinted (eg blue is greenish now). Changing the brightness does not help. I turned off and turned back on the phone as well as holding down the home and unlock button to restart it. Is there any way to reset the screen colors or resolution that would help me here?

hey i see u have problem at this stage u have 2 things to do first is software u need to cheak the invert colur option in the phone if the invert color is on than u have to turn it off if that did nt work than its a hardware problem which is covered in warranty so nothing to worry bro.
The warranty does not cover accidental damage or abuse... bro.
it will be covered if its not broken bro becoz sometimes this problem occur without broken display and if its not broken it should be covered in warrnty
If it was dropped and then the colors changed more than likely something was knocked loose, either way the apple retail store will most likely determine that the issue is due to accidental damage and would charge an out of warranty price to fix it unless you have the applecare plus in which case they would still charge but not as much.
Sorry. You don't know what you're talking about. The staff at Apple will be able to tell based on the damage.
hi I know this is an old post but I had the same issue on a dropped 5s … rather than take it to get fixed (expensive) I tried a software fix first (free): went to Settings > General > Accessibility and switched greyscale mode on to see if that helped. The dark/yellowish tint disappeared; then I just switched that mode off again and it was all fixed 🙂 I don't think it gets easier than that. Hopefully this will help someone else.
This fixed my issue! Dropped it, no break but yellow tint to the screen despite restarting it, and changing brightness. Tried this and it worked! Thank you! Saved me from paying the fee for replacing my phone!
