iPod Classic won't sync after being told to revert to factory setting. States it's because "a duplicate file name was specified". IPod is now empty, have to sort it before a 5 week trip.

In some cases that error message can be triggered by a corrupt iPod Photo Cache folder. Deleting that folder, which is created inside the photos folder that is synced to the device, can resolve in such cases.
