Werid Installation Issue

Hi everyone,

So I have had to do a complete re-install of OS X, and I've come across this rather troublesome issues that I'm a bit concerned about.

I am currently downloading the Mountain Lion installation after doing an Internet Recovery, everything went fine in that department, did all the usual setup steps as outlined from Apple and I have what I believe have downloaded until I noticed that the progress bar on the download is what I would say is at 99%, but there is about 1 hour and 29 minutes remaining. It gets to about 30 minutes remaining and then it jumps straight back to 3 hours remaining. This seems rather odd to me.

Any suggestions as to why this is happening? I originally had OS X Mavericks installed, would this have anything to do with it?
