For a network connection, start File Sharing from the Sharing pane of System Preferences and use the Connect to Server command in the Finder's Go menu on the other computer. For FireWire Target Disk mode, restart the iMac with the T key held down.

Jul 28, 2014 6:04 AM in response to denisefromgvby MlchaelLAX,Right Click (or Option Click) your Quicken folder and compress its contents to a zip file.
Copy this zip file and the data file to a flashdrive and move it to the Mac Mini.
Un-zip the zip file and your Quicken folder and its contents should reappear.
Double click on the data file to launch Quicken and load the data.
