Both the store and my MAC get error message "Can not locate Bonus track"

When I attempt to play a bonus album track I get the error message "The song “Nola Luck (Bonus Track)” could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" System can not locate this track on my system or in iTunes store.

Thank you

mysticmel,

The item must be downloaded via your purchase history rather than the store page wherein it appears, as detailed below.

iTunes Store

  • Open iTunes and go to the iTunes Store.
  • Click Purchased in the Quick Links section.
  • User uploaded file

  • Select the content type that you want to download (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, or Books).
  • Select Not in My Library to view purchased content that isn't on your computer.
  • User uploaded file

    1. Find the item that you want to download. You can browse using the menu to the left. If you have more than 2,000 songs, you will see Recent Purchases instead of All Songs or Albums.
      User uploaded file
    2. Click the Download User uploaded file icon next to the item you want to download.
If an item is already in your library, the Download icon won't appear.

    Download past purchases

    All my best,
