how can i restore my macbook air 11 inch mid 2013

mac macbook is working really very slow i want to setting it as a new. like we connect our iPhone to iTunes and restore it. is that possible?

There are several approaches you can take. One is to ask what software you are running in the background...are you running things like anti-virus or cleaner programs? Those actually use a lot of resources and slow the system down. They are best removed. Second, if you want to do a reinstall of the OS X, restart holding the Command and R keys. From Utilities on the menu bar, choose Install Mac OS X...that will do a simple reinstall of the operating system. Third, if you want a complete resetting of the system, restart as before, but choose Disk Utility from Utilities, then select the internal drive and Erase the drive. Then choose Install Mac OS X to do a clean install. Following this approach you need a good backup from which you can reinstall your applications and data.
