Can I add another person when replying to text message?

When I get a text message from a single person, and I want to reply to them but have it also sent to a second person (or even more people), is there a way to do this? Without creating some kind of group? The second person is already in my contacts on the iPhone (using iOS 7).

Thank you for any tips!

Chris,

Thank you! That answers my question, if not my wish list of features. 🙂

If you were to reply to a text, it does not give you the option to add additional people to the response. When you put more than one person in the To: portion of a text message it creates a group. If you created a group, the only way for everyone to see the message you received from the single person would be to forward that. Text messaging works different from an email.
