Q: Trackpad issues
I have a Macbook Pro (early 2011), running OSX 10.9.4. For the past few days, I have been having issues with the trackpad. These problems occur when I restart the computer or if I have closed the lid while the Mac is running and then reopen the lid to use. If I try to use the trackpad, the dock acts like it is frozen, but it is not. The interface is simply not recognizing the mouse hovering over the dock. In addition, I am unable to single click on anything. I can still scroll using two fingers, and on certain objects, if I use two fingers to tap, it works like a single click and other times it acts as a right click and opens a context menu. My keyboard seems to work fine. By accident, I found out that if I connect my wireless Magic Mouse, everything works normal, and then the trackpad works fine. I just updated to 10.9.4, today, but the issue occurred before the update and after. Any idea what is causing this issue?
