Q: I bought apps on App Store and now they are gone.

I have an iPad mini retina display.

I was facing problems in my iPad so, I reset it by deleting all storage and settings.

While setting up the iPad after resetting I chose to set it up as a new iPad and I did not use the iCloud backup settings instead I set them again.

Now when I was downloading apps I visited the purchased section of the App Store. There I found all the apps that was purchased by me were gone.

How can I restore all purchases? They were worth a few hundred dollars. Is this a common thing? Or do I have to contact customer care? Do I have to purchase them again?

Please help me out.

Thank You

It sounds like you are doing what you should be doing, but double check how the process works here.

    Download past purchases

YOu have to be signed into the same Apple ID that you used to make the purchases. Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID.

The apps, games, music and any other content that you want to download again, must be available in the iTunes or app stores as well. If the content is no longer listed in the stores, there is no way to download it again. Finally, the ability to download the content has to be available in the country where you live.

    You can check that here.
