I recently replaced my old IMac with a new one, running OS X 10.9.4. Now my HP Photosmart C5180 will no longer print in color. I have no options to change from color to black and white and I can no longer access supply levels. The latest software for the printer was uploaded the day I connected the printer to the computer. Is there a fix for this or do I have to bite the bullet and buy a new printer?

In the Print dialog, select the Color Matching tab and then select Vendor Matching.
And where is this "Print dialog"? I haven't been able to find anything that has a Color Matching tab.
Here is the Print menu that I get - no color matching option available. I used to be able to chose from several Presets - now the only thing that shows up in that drop-down menu is "Default" or "Last Used Settings".
Where it shows Copies & Pages, select Color Matching.
Not an option under that menu. And none of the available options give me that choice.
There is no "color matching" on HP print menus. You pick either color or B&W in the presets line. If those choices are missing you need to reinstall the printer drivers either from the HP support site (if available) or by deleting your printer from the Mac preferences pane and adding back in.

I have the same problem. Running OS X 10.9.5 with an HP Photosmart C5180 printer attached via USB. The printer driver is not available from hp.com - it says the driver is available with the OS. The driver that installs by default is a generic driver 'HP Photosmart C5100 Series' and I think this is why there is no option to print colour. I have tried resetting the printer and it is exactly the same as before.
Any ideas?
