I Went to a party last night and used my mini to take photos. Very disappointed , as photos were dark and grainy. I need a flash how do I get one ?

Or, if you don't want to get a camera, my iPad Pro 9.7" has flash and takes excellent pics. Don't know if the new iPad Pro also has that feature, but there are always some of the older model available on the online Apple store refurb section.
You can't, get yourself a point and shoot camera.
I have never heard of anything like that. Google it .

Search the web for a light or dongle.
Nowhere has Apple ever stated, advertised or shown an iPad with a flash.
iPads don't have a flash or illumination for use with the camera and there's no way to add one. Use an iPhone to take pics needing illumination.
Cheers, Tom 😉
In Apple's work flow, it's iPhones or iPods that are portable enough to be used as cameras and the iPads aren't on that portable list. I think the best bang for your buck would be to get a small digital camera. Just do your research because not every camera works well in low light.
You can't. Apple has not put in flash next to the Camera because they it was over powered, but i don't believe that because Apple can put 32 GB and that takes more room then a Camera flash!
