Apple TV broken

I bought my Apple TV in the NY store last May and used it since then. Now it won't start anymore. The light is on, however it won't allow me to select from the main menu and settings. The second page with Netflix, Itunes, etc... do not appear on the TV anymore. I live in Brazil and I don't know where to go, since the device was bought in the US. Does anyone can help me????

Hi XtirzahX,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like your Apple TV has started up normally and is responding to the Apple Remote inputs but there is an issue launching some of the apps, restarting as shown below may resolve this issue.

Apple TV: How to restart your Apple TV

If you can't restart your Apple TV because it's unresponsive, try the following:

  • Hold down Menu and Down on the Apple Remote for six seconds, and then release when you see the indicator light on the Apple TV blink rapidly.
  • Unplug the Apple TV power cord for three seconds, and then plug it back in.

If the issue persists after restarting, try restoring the Apple TV.

I hope this helps.
