Time zone keeps changing on my calender

Hello everyone,

I have an iPad2 and and iPhone 4S both registered under my username. I have a Windows 8 PC through which they sync to iTunes.

I use my calender a lot and since both devices are synced, when I edit or create a new calender event on one, it will change or be created on the other, which I love.

However, every now and then my events spontaneously change the time zone to Los Angeles. Since I live in London the events get changed by 6-7hours and either I completely miss the event or they go off at obscene times in the morning! I change them back and they will work for a bit and then randomly change. There seems to be no pattern and it is driving me insane! I have updated the iOS software several times and the problem has never been solved. It all started about 3 software updates ago. I have turned off the automatic time zone support but that didn't help.

I don't know if it is relevant but I appear to have several calenders linked via my email accounts and facebook. The events are created in separate colours depending on the account but these keep changing too.

Please can someone help, I pretty much have to use a paper diary again which defeats the point of iCalender!

thanks

J
