Q: Outlook 2007 Synching Problem with iPhone 4s and iPad 2

Outlook 2007, iPhone 4s 7.1.1 and iPad 2, iTunes 11.1.4.62 on a PC with Windows 7

Items in my Outlook such as my Calendar Appointments, Contacts, Tasks, etc are not synching with my iPhone and iPad. Have tried to have it replace the Mail folder on next synch but it hangs even if I leave it for hours to try and synch. Get stuck on step 2 of 4 synching Mail folders.

Am leaving on holiday shortly and REALLY need all my information with me when I travel.

Thanks for any help, as am not a technical user.
