Hello mickeypiekarski,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

This article has a couple of things that may be of use to your issue:

About the SD and SDXC card slot

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3553

Specifically:

I put the card in the slot, but it did not mount. What should I do?

Remove the card and insert it again. Sometimes, if you put the SD card into the slot too slowly, it may not mount properly.

and:

My computer won't read a FAT32 formatted SD card in Windows Vista. What can I do to make this work?

Occasionally, FAT32 formatted SD cards that do not completely adhere to SD technical specifications may not appear in My Computer with Windows Vista 32-bit. Restarting the computer may help the SD card mount.

You may also want to test another SD card and see if it might be something to do with that card or the SD Card slot.

Regards,

Jeff D.
