Q: Archived Disc

I  have Mac OS version 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.I have Roxio Toast Titanium !! it made an archived copy of my camera SD card my camera is a Panasonic full HD. HDC-SD900 to a DVD disc. This disc plays back perfectly from my HD player recorder to my TV. THe problem I have is I cannot play it back on my Mac not that I want to but I do want to export it to FCE 4 to be able to edit it. I don't have a problem taking my camera to FCE 4 . What is the point of making an archived disc of my camera card if down the track I cannot put it back into my Mac. What am I doing wrong thanks for any help royfromSA

    This is roy here I am answering my own question because I found the answer by miss take The only way I could get the clips to run on my Mac O/S from the AVCHD  disc I had made using  Roxio Toast 11. Was when I was logging and capturing to Final Cut Express 4 from my AVCHD Panasonic camera I then placed the disc into my Mac and the clips came up in my log and capture window I mention this incase anyone else had the same problem royfrom S.A
