I import photos from my iphone 5 to my macbook pro using image capture. The option to delete after import is grayed out. How do I delete the imported photos from my phone? Thx!

Hello Kykx,

At the bottom of the Image Capture window, there is a delete button that can be clicked once the desired images have been highlighted.

At the bottom of the devices and shared list, you can choose to delete photos from your camera after importing them and you can choose which application opens when you reconnect your camera or card to your computer.

Hi, the above doesn't answer the question. If the little red delete icon AND the menu item are grayed out, want is the resolution to the problem? I have the iphone connected and I have ensured that the passcode on the iphone is entered. Is there something else we need to unlock. And yes, I have selected the photos I want to delete.
