My wife and I share a single Apple account. I am receiving her iMessages on my phone - how do I stop this? I've checked in settings and the two numbers are listed but only hers is set to receive iMessages.

You or your wifi must change Apple ID/ password or you will get each other's stuff on iPhones.

The above answer is incomplete at best. I notice that Brian Syddall comments on many posts with incomplete or inaccurate information.
To answer your question: it is because your wife and you are using the same Apple ID, they are not meant to be used by 2 people. Delete her Apple ID from your phone and creat your own, they are free.
This will solve your problem.
