Itunes: Uninstall from MacBook (10.6.8) reinstall MacMini (10.9.3) external drive

I want to uninstall iTunes from my MacBook (10.6.8) and reinstall it onto my MacMini (10.9.3) using an external drive.

At present I use the MacBook for iTunes, which includes syncing, keeping updated, etc. six iOs devices to it.

I have a MacMini that I use as a media centre for playing movies, watching Tube, playing games, etc.

I want to use the MacMini as I have been up until now and also as I have been using my MacBook for up until now in regard to iTunes.

I want to put all my iTunes stuff in a 1TB external HDD that I will attach to my MacMini.

I have recently had a 128 GB SSD installed in the MacMini and I know the iTunes music folder alone is over 100 gb,

hence I want to put the itunes stuff on the external drive.

If someone could give me a step by step as to how to achieve this I would be very greatful.

Cheers

Mac mini (Late 2009), OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), MacBook OSX 10.6.8
