Canon Pixma MX870 Printer not connected
After working fine until yesterday the printer job progress box suddenly shows the error message "The Printer is not connected". The printer shows green light "idle" in the System Preferences. I have restarted printer, restarted Mac, downloaded and installed the latest printer driver from Canon, re-set the network which is all I can think of in terms of trouble shooting. I am running OS X Mavericks, latest version.
