When a Ipad is registered the "Valid Puchase Date" is checked. It says this enables Apple to locate and update your device.Question, when Ipad is stolen Apple should be able to locate the Ipad??? How many Iproduct owners would pay for this service???

All the thief has to do is turn off your location services and the you can not track it, even with the new update you can lock your iCloud but you still can't lock the location services. Thief throws the useless apple device away because you erase and lock your device, and you are out $300 - $3000 cause you still can't track your device!
