Q: I have exceeded my sending capacity and can no send email. How do I resolve this?

I Have exceeded my sending capacity in my ipad2 and can no longer send emails. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    If you are referring to having a message quantity sending cap imposed on your email account by your provider, will have to take it up with them. The iPad is wholly innocent of your presumed excessive verbosity.

     

    Might be worth checking that you have not exceeded the STORAGE capacity afforded to you by the email provider: in most cases, the mail you send gets copied in a Sent folder as well. If you are out of room, an error will spring up every time you attempt to send.

     

    Same can be construed if the email is set up as POP and you've overflowed the iPad's storage capacity. In this case, it is up to you to visit all the folders and purge the excess manually.

    TThank you very much. Can you advise how I check my STORAGE capacity? Also how can I purge the excess in my folders? I have deleted all sent emails
