Appleworks 6 inserting images

Hello I have Appleworks 6 on my Macbook Pro. I am trying to create a banner but for some reason whenever I go to File > Insert, I cannot choose an image. Only .Cwk's. Is there anyway to change this? I would like to insert images even on the Appleworks drawing I cannot insert any image. Thanks in advance!

Did you move the AppleWorks application from the AppleWorks 6 folder, separating it from its necessary folders - AppleWorks Essentials, Clippings & Starting Points? The AppleWorks 6 application & the above mentioned folders must be in a folder named AppleWorks 6 & this folder must be at the first level of the Applications folder. Not keeping all these "parts" together will break translators, spell check, updaters, etc.

There is no way you are using AppleWorks 6 in OS X 10.7 (Lion). The last version of OS X that can run PowerPC apps is Snow Leopard, 10.6.x.
