Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

THere is no way you can bypass the activation lock. You need to go to appleid.apple.com, tap on search for my apple id, enter your inf and if your email is in apple database, it will show you what it is. Be ready to answer the security questions. Once successful, you can go ti icloud.com/ find login, cluck on your devive and tap on erase my device
