I'm using Safari 7.1.2 on my iPhone 4s and I can't find a way to store my website passwords, so every time I visit sites that require one I have to reenter it. I know from what I've seen on the web that I'm not alone on this. Has anyone found a solution?
Settings App > iCloud > Keychain [turn ON]
NOTE: Some website's security protocols prevent user names and passwords from being saved, but I have found this to be rather rare.

Do you also have Safari turned on for iCloud back ups? AS well as Auto fill in Settings app > Safari?
Have you tried these steps?
Settings > Safari > Passwords & Autofil > Names and Passwords [if off, turn on]
I just double-checked and my iCould KeyChain is on, however when I go to Settings|Safari|Passwords & Autofill|Saved Passwords every one of the sites in the list say "not saved" and when I click on one it says "User names and passwords will not be saved for this website".
It is already on (slider is to the right, showing green).
That typically happens when you previously decline to save the password, or the site itself prevents it.
Are you using Private browsing, by any chance?
Try this: Go to Settings App > Safari > Passwords & AutoFill > Saved Passwords. Tap Edit and then selct one of the sites, then Delete. Open Safari and go to the site and log in, making sure to select Save Password when prompted. Go back top the Settings app and check to see if the password actually saved.
You can delete those entries.
On that page, tap edit, select the entries, then tap delete
they should prompt to save passwords next time
No joy. When I went back to Settings the URL was no longer in the list of sites. And I don't think it's the site because it has a "Keep me logged in" option which always shows up as selected.

Private Browsing is enabled by tapping the two squares in the bottom right of Safari, then tap private in the lower left.
You'll know when it is in Private browsing when the top and bottom of Safari are black with white lettering, instead of the normal white with grey lettering.
