Jul 25, 2014 5:36 PM in response to Jayme07by Kappy,So, when you stop the process and check out the target machine does it have all your migrated data? Can you boot it? If so then don't sweat the small stuff.

Jul 25, 2014 5:42 PM in response to Jayme07by Kappy,Are you sure? Did you check to see if you now have two user accounts listed in the /Users/ folder and Users & Groups preferences? You probably won't find anything in the current account you are using because MA will not migrate into an existing account.

Jul 25, 2014 5:45 PM in response to Jayme07by JoshSTJ,Check out this article: OS X Mavericks: Migration may stall with "Sharing Only" user accounts
Also, not sure what model Mac Pro you're migrating from, but check this article as well: Mac Pro (Mid 2010) and Mid (2012): Migration does not complete

Jul 25, 2014 6:31 PM in response to Jayme07by Kappy,Why not connect the two by Firewire or Thunderbolt and use Target Disk Mode to clone your old machine to the new one? Or erase your Passport, clone your old system to it using Disk Utility. Then restore the clone to the new computer (erase its drive first.) This is more reliable than using Migration Assistant.
Clone using Restore Option of Disk Utility
1. Open Disk Utility in the Utilities folder.
2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
4. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag
it to the Destination entry field.
5. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to
the Source entry field.
6. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the Target or the drive you are copying to. Source means the drive you are copying from.

Jul 25, 2014 6:33 PM in response to Linc Davisby Jayme07,I tried that as well. It says "other time capsule- Set up a time capsule that is not here- Then it pops up that "No configured airport base stations have been found"
I have no idea what has happened to that.
