Deciding between an 11 inch or 13 inch Macbook Air

So I'm purchasing a Macbook Air for highschool this upcoming Augest. I'm deciding whether to buy the 13 Air or the 11 Air. At home (no matter the model) I'll have it connected to a 21.5" external monitor. When off the monitor I'll be transporting it between classes, to and from school, watching Netflix in bed, and maybe some LoL or some sort of game at a friend's. Price isn't a variable (I will get the base model, regardless of size), but my main concern is will the 11" screen be too small when away from home and have to opt out to a 13", or will the 11" be perfect away from home. Any help is, well, helpful! Thanks!

If you have an Apple Store or reseller near you it would be a good idea to see for yourself. What one person thinks is just right can be too small for another. There is really a lot of personal preference involved. The following link can help you find a reseller: https://www.apple.com/buy/

I would go with the macbook air 11 inch just because it is more portable if you begin considering a 13,3 inch laptop I think you should take a look at the base model 13 inch retina macbook pro. The MBP is not just faster but you have got "a lot more screen" to play around with.

FoxFifth is giving the same advice I do. Personally, I though the 11” was the computer I wanted until I sat down and used one just as I intended to use it for work. I quickly discovered that I felt it was too cramped - for me. I have lots of customers who have come in to buy their second or even third 11” MBA but I also have many who have thanked me for the advice to use both before making their purchase decision.
