I bought an album in the iTunes store and it downloaded 19 songs. Where did they go? Why aren't they in my music library. How do I get them into an existing playlist?

Thank you for the help in advance.

I suppose I was under the impression that iTunes would download it to my Music Library and that there was a way to easily get it into a Playlist.
