If you wish to post a screen shot do this:
If you want the entire screen then substitute 3 for the 4 in the above.
It's your keyboard so you should know what key is mapped to the COMMAND key. It may be the MS Windows key that's next to the SPACE bar.
Use the Windows Logo key + Shift + 3 for full screen, 4 for cursor controlled area.
The Windows Logo Key = the Command key
Remember, this was a request to know how to take a screenshot with a "PC" keyboard using necessary key combinations, which does not include a "Command" key as a "PC" keyboard does not have that key.
Place mouse in the Window you with to capture
Command-Shift-4
press the spacebar, the selected window turns highlight color
click in the window,
you hear the camera-click sound
done
to abandon this without capturing, press Command-.
I am grateful to you, many thanks to you. I did this and saved much time of handwriting the list . Enjoy your day!

You are very welcome, Maureen. Have a great day.
Hi,
Is there an equivalent for screenshotting the Window? or option 3 is as close as I can get?
Thanks.
Thank you. Been using an iMAC for four years and would remap the keys to prnt-scrn on my keyboard - was not aware of this shortcut. It's simple enough. Thank you.
