The manual for Numbers 09 does not seem be be compatible with Version 3.2. The article about "sheets" on page 39, for example, does not correspond.

Apple seems to be taking the route to help/manuals on-line only - not happy with ITUNES having to connect to get a term cleared up.

Am at snow leopard where we still have help off-line at least.

Please give feedback saying on All apple help you would like to have a PDF manual available for download - also help within the application if you are offline.

I agree that Apple should provide a PDF Manual for each new version of its software. The policy of releasing programs without a shred of documentation has made a rich man of David Pogue, author of the Missing Manual Series, but it does nothing for users like me who buy the stuff. Case in point: Numbers.

It apparently is now worse that you cannot access off-line help - tried it in ITUNES 11.3 and it all on-line only.

I guess best strategy is to get as many people as you can to seen feedback.

Oh - the last numbers manual that came with the software was in a book the size of a DVD Envelope - and does not lay flat when opened - wildly frustrating.

If you want to leave feedback for Numbers, use the menu item "Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback"
