Im asking if it is possible to run software creating audio onboard. Run that audio out USB through a DAC and back onboard through the digital audio in. And, then record that 24bit audio with software.
Can you in this way get around the limits of the internal sound card. And, avoid the cost of any external hardware to record at 24bit 96khz? If you can then what would be good for recording the incoming audio through the digital in? Quicktime? Audacity?
