iPad accessory...not supported??

I only have one (genuine Apple) charger for my iPad 2 (30 pin,3-g wireless). Sometimes when I plug it in, I get a message that the charging cable may not be supported. I don't quite understand why a genuine apple accessory (charger) wouldn't be supported. Strange. Screen shot below. Anybody else ever get this? Thanks!
