hey guys i am facing an issue with my airdrop option i am unable to discover my iPhone 5s on my mac
its support to be simple turn on the Airdrop & both mac & on iPhone unable to look for device
keep searching thats strange. how can i resolve this ??

I know you’ve posted in a Mavericks forum but are you actually running Mavericks?
I’m pretty sure that at this time there is no official way to do this with the combination of hardware and software that you appear to have.
Right now Airdrop only works computer to computer or IOS device to IOS device. I read somewhere there is a plan to change this, perhaps in Yosemite.
Right now its just iOS to iOS, and Mac to Mac.
iOS: Use AirDrop to wirelessly share content
Mac Basics: AirDrop helps you share items with others nearby
Yosemite will be able to go iOS to Mac and vice versa.
