Jul 28, 2014 11:03 AM in response to pogsterby erzimmer,Hi Pogster,
Thanks for your reply. I'm trying to unlock my phone since July 7th, they just sent me the following e-mail.
I just got a reply from our network support team and I’m told that your device is not locked to any provider, it’s on a ready-to-be-locked state. Cases as such must go through Apple directly as we are unable to unlocked such devices.
I apologize for the trouble this causes and thank you for your understanding.
Regards,
Any advise?
Thanks

Jul 28, 2014 11:07 AM in response to erzimmerby TJBUSMC1973,Contact Appel to verify the activation policy of the device. If they confirm that it is unlocked, then you need to contact the carrier you wish to have service through to set up service.

Jul 28, 2014 12:12 PM in response to erzimmerby erzimmer,My carrier (FIDO) advised me to call to apple. Apple costumer service advised me to call my carrier (FIDO). Now FIDO asked me to wait until August 3rd (I'm waiting since July 7th). This is a very frustrating situation.

Jul 28, 2014 12:21 PM in response to erzimmerby stedman1,Fido seems to be giving you the run-around. Did you originally purchase the phone from Fido? If so, call them again and ask to speak someone with more authority or knowledge than the customer service rep You have been dealing with.

Jul 28, 2014 12:30 PM in response to erzimmerby stedman1,Assuming you meet ALL the requirements for unlocking as stated in the Fido document I linked above, I would say that would be the best course of action.
