Q: iPhone 5S wifi not loading in new country.

While I was in England my wifi was fine but in Romania (on holiday) I cannot seem to connect to any wifi network around here, I have tried a few around town. I have had brief luck with some of them but after a minute it would not work. Also sometimes the internet works, just really slowly. At the hotel room my MacBook Pro can connect to the wifi but my phone can't. I have tried:

Renewing lease

Changing dns to 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4

Forget network then join again.

Any help?
