Q: Apple ID email

I changed my email and now am struggling to log out of my iCloud to use my new email. Went back into manage my account and changed it back to old addres and tried then to go to delete from my ipad but it won't accept the password and or email.  Any help would be really really great as I'm out of date with updates etc
