Numbers update

Question

Numbers update

When I try to open an existing numbers file I get a message that I need to get a new update but when I go to the App store it says installed and will not update to the newer version of numbers. What to do?

You must have Mavericks installed in order to get the latest versions of iWork apps.

Hi Woody,

If you have Mavericks you may be trying to open Numbers 3 files in Numbers '09. One (3) is in your Applications folder the other ('09) is in the iWork'09 folder in Applications. I keep both Apps in my dock.

Numbers 3 is at the top.
