Q: I want to publish my iBook in Spanish - separate file?
Do I need to make another copy of my iBooks Author file for my book to make a Spanish version of it? Or is there some way of making a spanish translation in the same file? I guess if it's separate it will be a separate book in the Book Store as well?

Yes, you need to translate your text and create a totally separate book.
