How can I highlight text in Notes?

I do not believe that is a feature of the Notes app. The Notes app is extremely basic. There are, however, thousands of note-taking apps in the App Store. I'm sure some of them offer text highlighting.

How do you "hit cmd +f" on an iPhone?
Meg is correct and so are you. You can't do highlighting in Notes.
Just to make sure, you're not talking about 'highlighting' the text for the purposes of copying & pasting it, right?

switch you text over to Textedit it Highlights fine.
I've indicated in Notes by inserting Emoji they work
