I understand that you are having a sporadic issue with a No SIM alert. The steps in the following attached article should help you get this resolved. It sounds like your iPhone is up to date software wise but the other steps should be helpful to you. Step 5 is otherwise known as reseating the SIM card and can be very helpful in these type of situations.
