Jul 30, 2014 6:29 AM in response to CreeperGabeby a brody,Very few people have eMates anymore. You might find the answer on http://www.lowendmac.com/
or http://www.pda-soft.de/en/hardware/emate/disassembly/disassembly.html
You might want to e-mail them to find out if a PRAM battery exists for it.

Dec 17, 2014 8:02 PM in response to CreeperGabeby slide4417,Set your date to something around 2001 or so.....I bet it works fine!! It seems to simply call it quits around 2010. I don't think anything with yours is broken....Apple just didn't expect anyone to still have one that many years later.
Mine does the same thing :-(

Mar 8, 2015 10:52 AM in response to slide4417by imjafj,Right on. Just took my emate out for a spin after a few years in hiding. My son wants to take it to high school to take notes on and freak people out. Turns out that 1998 had the same calendar days as 2015, so it's a happy emate now and knows the date and time (sort of).
